Who are we?

South Dublin County Volunteer Centre offers a recruitment and placement service for volunteers in South Dublin County as well as providing support and training to not for profits on all aspects of volunteer managment. Other services include a Garda Vetting service, consultancy on volunteering issues and research and policy work around all areas of volunteering. SDCVC developed the first modular volunteer management training program in Ireland.

SDCVC was the first volunteer centre in Ireland to pilot a Garda vetting service for community organisations and are current also acting as one of the pilot organisations for electronic vetting. We were also instrumental in developing the first national database of volunteering opportunities.
