The PPN needs to fill two Strategic Policy Committee seats which have been made available through resignations of two former PPN SPC reps.

Please see below for details of the representation requests. If you are interested in becoming a PPN representative on one of these committees or require more information please get in touch with Sam Dunne, PPN Co-ordinator, without delay.

The closing date for nominations to these committees is Wednesday 14th June 2017 at 5pm; (please do not send any nominations following the deadline as they will not be accepted).

Nominations will be circulated to PPN members from Thursday 15th June 2017 at 5pm.

Your organisation will be sent an emailed listing of all possible candidates for you to ‘cast your vote’ on accordingly. Each organisation has one vote. The nominees must belong to the Social Inclusion pillar, however, votes on candidates can come from ANY pillar organisation.

Elections will take place using an online facility from Thursday 15th June until close of election on Friday 29th June 2017 at 5pm; (please do not cast any more votes following this deadline as they will not be accepted).

The seats available are:

Housing Strategic Policy Committee

  • Social Inclusion Group representative

  • All successful candidates will be required to sign up to the new PPN Rep Charter
  • It is very important for reps to adhere to the charter as it forms the agreement between reps and the plenary that elected reps will operate within the agreed terms of the charter for the benefit of the entire plenary.
